Our mission is our commitment.
We started with the commitment „to create a culture where quality, trust and a healthy environment thrive in today’s work scenery”. And we held our promise.
In the years that have passed, our vision has come to life more and more. Wonderful people have joined us, inspired us, supported us, and motivated us to carry the dream forward.
And our commitment to them continues. Today, it stands on three pillars.
The world has defined the standard. We all know it. A standard of sufficiency, of lack of awareness, intention, and meaning. Of mediocrity. Up to the line, but no higher. Who drew the line? Is this our line? Why should we identify with it? Why not draw our own line? Our own standard. With integrity, purpose, and aspiration towards performance. Towards pushing our own limits. Towards growth. Towards becoming.
When we started Thunder, we fiercely committed to providing our partners with unparalleled, exceptional, rock-solid solutions that not only meet but exceed their expectations. Quality, therefore, has been at the forefront of our mission, creating in us an unapologetic dedication to developing products, services, and a vision that our partners can trust and rely on without reservation.
And that’s because we believe that more is not necessarily better, but better is more. And better requires work. Long hours. Hard trials. Difficult conversations. An insatiable hunger for innovation. A belief in the transformative power of technology to revolutionise businesses. Not just meeting the standard, but setting it. Paying the price. Not the price of ignorance, but the price of true excellence.
As humans, our deepest desire is to feel seen. Valued. To know that we matter. Unfortunately, work seems to have fallen out of the sphere of fulfilling our deepest needs. We don't know why that is. But what we do know is that we wanted to build Thunder as a space where people are seen and valued for who they are. A place where work is done with dedication and meaning. Where a mission is not just a sentence on the wall, but a way of being, supported by actions. Where inner development is as precious as professional growth. Where fulfilment is found in the process, not just the destination.
Our culture began as a dream that we wanted to transform into a reality. A reality where work is infused with trust, fairness, and a healthy environment, where people can laugh, create, and walk freely on the path of their becoming. Where productivity is rooted in mutual respect, relentless learning, and a holistic approach to work, balance and life itself.
We believe Thunder is a manifesto for something that can be done differently. An unwavering faith that people can create a special kind of work. A work that works on you more than you work on yourself. A work that gives. A work that inspires. A work that matters.
Thunder is for people - those within and beyond our walls. It’s for those who seek purpose in their lives. Those who recognize their worth as humans in today’s work scenery. Thunder is for dreamers, for those who hope and deeply believe in the power of human potential.
These people are many. Unfortunately, due to their lack of awareness of each other and their collective power, they remain silent. Through our monthly events and initiatives, we strived to give them a voice. A voice to speak and be listened to at the same time. A voice to exchange inspiring ideas, form partnerships and support one another. To share their stories, their struggles, their wins, their dreams. To meet people who think, act and aspire just like them. Just like us.
It’s a community of individuals, designed for those who act, who speak up, who move things around them. Those who yearn to make a difference, to be part of something bigger than themselves, to do a work that they are proud of. A work that can’t be automated, mechanized, or outsourced. A work that makes them feel alive. A work that serves others. That reminds us that no one is an island. And that together we make it loud.
We know you are familiar with this word. You might have seen it in so many mission statements that it has become a cliché. And it can be indeed. A cliché, a good-looking declaration, maybe an aspiration, a hard-to-get result that steps back when you get close to it.
Still, we decided to choose it. Why?
Because for us, a journey where striving for the highest standards is passed over, is a journey not worth having in the first place. But even more than that, it’s an expression of integrity. Holding the promise that we made to ourselves. And to others. Deliver more than what is expected. Doing things that are needed when no one is looking. Transcending self-imposed limitations. Stepping out of comfort. Getting better. Raising the bar. Holding ourselves accountable. Doing those extra reps. Lead ourselves to lead others. Giving instead of getting. Plant in order to reap. And when the season comes, reap something infused with greatness.
In this world, they want us divided. Divided by ethnicity, by gender, by politics. Divided by economic inequality, by education, by all the personal opinions that we identify with. Because they know that togetherness is limitless. That the power of a community surpasses all boundaries. Breaks the norms, challenges the status quo, sees the truth.
It defines our belief that oneness is better than separateness, that nobody can be left behind and that growth can occur only in a climate that honours every opinion and nurtures every person’s well-being.
Unity is the voice of the ones that sing the same song. The song of relevance. Of meaning. Of generosity. A song that calls you to do more, be more, create more, give more, love more. A song that once is heard, cannot be unheard. A song that gives you courage. And more than that, a reason.
This song is playing right now. Can you hear it?
Resilience is nothing less than a testament to the human spirit. A catalyst. A fuel that propels us forward despite setbacks, hurdles, and long trials. A hidden force that remains silent until it is needed. And yet, it resides in each and every one of you.
A while ago, we discovered it resides in us as well. One of the most tumultuous phases we have encountered urged us to meet each other face to face. Will we become masters over our circumstances, or will external factors dictate our path?
Even more than before, this spark has created in us a gritty determination to persevere. To view adversity as an opportunity for becoming more. To redefine ourselves rather than allowing hardships to define us. Resilience made us inventive. Steady. Adaptable. Strong enough to act with our last resources. To find hope in the darkest hours. To forge ahead. Encourage others before we could encourage ourselves. Have trust in the process. Trust in our people. And believe, despite all the odds, that we are crazy enough to make it.
We are taught to believe that we need trust to be vulnerable. And still, through our experience, we have discovered that being vulnerable is the only way to trust. And vulnerability means honesty. Honesty to evaluate and know yourself. To see your qualities and flaws alike. To know when to begin something and when to take a step back. Honesty to say things that maybe people don’t want to hear. To understand your limits, your values, your standards. The things that are important to you. What to keep and what to let go of.
We worked hard to build our hub with virtues such as transparency, fairness and open communication. A place where you can truly meet yourself. One that is infused with the energy of reliance. Reliance on ourselves, on our colleagues, on our partners. Where business relationships are infused with integrity. Integrity to sell only what we can deliver. To live up to our set standards. To say what we think and to do what we say. To keep our promises.
Trust it's about honouring our commitments to the people who chose us. A responsibility. And a mirror to reflect on, understanding that our honesty towards others originates from being truthful, firstly, with ourselves.
Service implies action. Not any action, but the action of giving. Traditionally, we've learned that giving involves losing. Sacrificing something. Yet, what we genuinely sacrifice is disillusionment. Stubbornness, greed, self-centeredness. And in return, we gain everything. Because giving is transformative. It frees our spirits. It brings us joy, fulfilment, and connection. A full heart. And a belief that while we make a living by what we get, in the end, we make a life by what we give.
We always said that we all, as humanity, are standing on the shoulders of giants. All those who have worked hard, suffered, or even died for a better future. For something they’ve believed in. They lived in a time of sorrow, so that we may live today in a time of peace. And we, in return, have the duty to pass it on. To give what we already have. Sometimes what we have on the outside, but more often, what we have on the inside.
Through our monthly events, initiatives and mentoring programs we have put in place, we aim to bring to people at least as much as we have received ourselves. Paying it forward. Multiplying it. Realizing that it’s not about us. And it never was. It was always about the others.
Now tell us, how may we serve?
